Filipinos are well-known in the world as one of the most hospitable people on the planet, embracing every nationality that would happen to visit their country whenever they planned to. Putting this into a rather lower level, Filipinos, too, are generally family-oriented. I, for one, have felt a varying difference on how we treat ourselves and the rest of the family members like a bond that would be difficult to digress. We care more for our parents and siblings and, even if we change courses in our life by having our own families, our ties just lives on us and would hardly get lost even a bit.
I just wish that every individual would have the same benefit of having a bigger number of people caring for them, greater number of care homes to house their anxieties and loneliness, and a more profound perspective of hospitality to embrace each other regardless of kind.
